Edinburgh Man #58

If you were unfortunate enough to tune in last week you'll have heard me moaning about a broken dishwasher. Don't worry - it's been replaced, so there'll be no moaning this week. However the cost of a new dishwasher seems to have put a dent in this months live music and vinyl purchasing plans, so there'll be plenty of moans about that instead.

On today's podcast we started off in a totally self-indulgent manner with a live recording of "No Children" by The Mountain Goats. I was at a fantastic gig by The Mountain Goats through in Glasgow at the weekend, and I've still got their songs flying around my head. There's also a track by the Second Hand Marching Band featuring Benni Hemm Hemm. Benni has been resident in Edinburgh for the last few years but now he's returning to his native Iceland. His farewell gig was the same night as the Mountain Goats gig, so as some sort of consolation I fancied playing this track.

Podsafe music in this episode is played courtesy of The Mountain Goats, Song by Toad, KIY Records. Tracks 3, 4, 5 and 6 are released under Creative Commons Licences. Edinburgh Man Podcasts is a member of the Association of Music Podcasting.
